The Mystery and Ministry of Suffering was the record of a message that Robert McMurdo gave in the last century. It has been reprinted on more than one occasion since it contains timeless truth that is valid for every generation. Brother McMurdo clearly shows that God has a purpose for the suffering that we pass through on earth but we as believers need to develop the right attitude to suffering to really learn the valuable lessons that the Lord is teaching us through our sufferings. Though suffering is painful at the time, Romans 8:28, “ And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose,” will ALWAYS be true.
