The Little Woodman and his Dog Caesar

Add Items to Cart
This is a moral story written by the author of children's books, Mary Martha Sherwood (1775-1851), and was popular in Victorian times. It was written to show both the evil effects of sin, and the gracious way God deals with those who are brought to godly sorrow on account of it. In the story, the author recounts how a little boy, William, who lived in a forest with his father and brothers, was left an orphan. After being abandoned by his brothers when his father died, William, in spite of many dangers, finds his way to an isolated cottage and his aged grandmother, with his brothers who have suffered deeply for their sin, and does all he can to make their latter days comfortable.
