The Epistles of Peter, An Expository Outline

The theme of Peter under inspiration is the government of God, which is richly treated in both Epistles, but in a different aspect in each of the two. The First Epistle is occupied with the righteous government of God applied to the Christian’s path day by day as he hopes for the bright result at our Lord’s coming; the Second Epistle pursues it with solemn and detailed energy in the judgment of false teachers.
