Take Heart Again

We all have been discouraged—some more than others. Sometimes the discouragement is for only a short time, sometimes a long-lasting, major life event. F.B. Myers (1847–1929) of London, England, wrote this small book about 100-120 years ago. The language and examples have been modernized. He points out that God is in charge and has allowed the circumstances to happen as they did. He loves us and seeks our best. If we have gone through discouragements, we can sympathize with others. We can be happy and content in the most discouraging of circumstances if we are seeking to please the Lord, to do His will!
