Ruth the Rebel
Unwanted by her mother, Ruth is sent to Beulah House. She makes friends with Gilbert and the other children, but she is a rebel and refuses to forgive her mother. When Gilbert becomes a Christian, Ruth follows suit, but is not really interested and soon gives up Christian ideas. Rebelling against God brings her only misery and unhappiness until she turns around and takes God exactly at His word in everything. Excellent reading.
