John 3:16 explained

Product Description

The content of this tract: God's loving offer "God so loved the world" --> The greatest case of mercy ever known "that He gave His only Son," --> The highest price payable "that whoever" --> The largest number possible "believes in Him" --> The easiest condition imaginable "should not perish" --> The greatest salvation available "but have everlasting life." --> The best of all gifts obtainable This fundamental verse from the Bible expresses the entire gospel of God clearly, as in a brilliant diamond. This is for you personally! The gospel presented in the Bible is truly a joyful message for any honest enough to face the light it shines on him or her. "God so loved the world..." This gives us some idea of how God longs for His creatures. We cannot but wonder at the inconceivable love of God, whom we have dishonoured, ignored and offended. But He took the first step to save the lost. "...that He gave His only Son..." That was the price that God's love paid: Jesus Christ - His unspeakable gift. The man, Jesus Christ, is the proof of the love of a righteous God. He sent His beloved Son to earth that He would die on the cross. That was how our loving God came to the aid of the lost! What a mercy! "...that whoever believes in Him..." This applies to everybody without exception. In place of the word 'whoever' you could insert your name. What must we do to be lost? Nothing at all! But something needs to be done to be saved! God does not demand good deeds; He commands us to believe personally in His Son Jesus Christ, who suffered the judgment of God on account of our sins. If you fulfil His wish, you can take hold of salvation from eternal punishment and receive the blessing of eternal life in all its fullness. "...should not perish..." Here God pronounces the dreadful fate of those who reject His offer: they will be lost eternally in darkness and torment far from God's presence "where their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched." The bible - Mark 9:44 Please do not misunderstand this: God's message is not a threat. He does not want sinners to die, but to be converted and live. It would be wrong of us to remain silent concerning God's earnest warning that people can be lost. "...but have everlasting life." This goes beyond "getting something out of life" or "enjoying one's life", which would be very mediocre. It signifies truly joyful, eternal life with Jesus Christ. This is how the Bible describes it: "The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ." "He who has the Son has life." The Bible - Romans 6:23 / 1 John 5:12 When does eternal life begin? As soon as you believe in the Savior Jesus Christ, confessing your sins sincerely before God. That can happen here and now! "In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins." The Bible - 1 John 4:10
