Spanish The Labourer is Worthy of His Wages

Para comenzar queremos expresar un pequeñio pensamiento como encabezado a estas líneas. Este título se escogió intencionalmente, pues encontramos esta expresión tres veces en el Nuevo Testamento con pequeñas variaciones.

La pregunta: «¿Quienes son los obreros y quienes son sus sotenedores ?» está en la mente de muchos y es de lo más relevante en los días modernos, en los cuales reina la incertidumbre economica. Es un gran privilegio, y muy gratificante, ser un obrero o un soporte en la vina del Señor, ("sabiendo que vuestro trabajo en el Señor no es en vano" (1 Co. 15:58).

El autor, Ernst-August Bremicker ha escudriñado diligentemente las Escrituras para encontrar las respuestas. Sus hallazgos están registrados bajo ciertos subtitulos y de forma ordenada, de modo que será muy útil tanto para los obreros coma para los sostenedores.

Cada uno de nosotros tiene un responsabilidad y un rol que cumplir bajo la direccion del Señor de la mies y cada uno tendra que finalmente dar cuentas a Aquel que pertenecemos y servimos.

To begin with, we would like to express a small thought as a heading to these lines. This title was chosen intentionally, for we find this expression three times in the New Testament with slight variations.

The question: "Who are the workers and who are their supporters?" is on the minds of many and is most relevant in the modern day, when economic uncertainty reigns. It is a great privilege, and very rewarding, to be a labourer or a supporter in the Lord's vineyard, "knowing that your labour in the Lord is not in vain" (1 Cor. 15:58).

The author, Ernst-August Bremicker has diligently searched the Scriptures for answers. His findings are recorded under certain subheadings and in an orderly fashion, so that it will be very helpful to both workers and supporters.

Each of us has a responsibility and a role to fulfil under the direction of the Lord of the harvest and each of us will ultimately have to give an account to the One to whom we belong and serve.
