Hi style was timeless, but some of his expressions are no longer used in English. His content was heart-warming, but sometimes appeared in unexpected places. For the encouragement of Christians everywhere, an avid reader of C. H. Mackintosh's writings has extracted and collated the contents of his helpful book.
