Ezekiel 37: A Vision God gave to the Prophet Ezekiel Ezekiel was a Hebrew priest and a prophet chosen by God. He was taken captive to Babylon, along with the rest of the nation of Israel. However, Ezekiel was carried away in the Spirit of the LORD, to a site where he saw a vision of future events which will happen to his people Israel. In this vision, Ezekiel finds himself in the midst of a valley full of dry bones. There God asks him "Son of man (Ben Adam), can these bones live?" Ezekiel's answer was, "O Lord GOD, You know." Then God revealed to Ezekiel who these bones represent, sayings: "Son of man (Ben Adam) these bones are the whole house of Israel." The LORD commanded Ezekiel to prophesy to the bones about the glorious future that is ahead for Israel. The subject of Ezekiel 37 is about the spiritual awakening of the people of Israel, and their re-gathering back to their own Promised Land. God still has a plan and a purpose for his chosen nation Israel, even though our Jewish people are still scattered all over the world today. May the LORD hasten that day. AMEN. Gideon Levytam
