Afrikaans Have Faith in God (Pack of 100)
Text of the tract in English
Examine yourselves, whether you are in the faith; prove yourselves. (2 Corinthians 13;5)
The word is near thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart; that is the word of faith, which we preach: that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek; for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? So, then, faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:8-13,16,17)
“Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.” (Luke 7:50)
Therefore, being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. (Romans 5:1,2)
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God – not of works, lest any man should boast. (Ephesians 2:8,9)
There is, therefore, now no condemnation to them who are in Christ Jesus … for the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. (Romans 8:1,2)
What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? (Romans 8:31,32)
After ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise. (Ephesians 1:13)
The love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who is given unto us. (Romans 5:5)
For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit himself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God; and if children, then heirs – heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ – if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. (Romans 8:15-17)
Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price; therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. (1 Corinthians 6:19,20)
Watch, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. (1 Corinthians 16:13)
And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear, forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver and gold, from your vain manner of life received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot, who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, who by him do believe in God, who raised him up from the dead and gave him glory, that your faith and hope might be in God. (1 Peter 1:17-21)
But thou, O man of God … follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life. (1 Timothy 6:11,12)
We walk by faith, not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5;7)
Let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:1,2)
The Lord Jesus said: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit; for without me ye can do nothing. In this is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. (John 15:5,8)
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly … and whatever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. (Colossians 3:16,17)
