This inspiring and instructive book contains eight lectures given by W. T. P. Wolston many years ago. His ministry was always centered on christ and the glorious gospel.

In these addresses, he traces the history of the Israelites from their slavery in egypt and the Passover night to the "serpent of brass" and the crossing of the Jordon River. Many lessons can be gained from Israel's forty years of wanderings through the wilderness - indeed, they are written for our profit and learning. We too have been redeemed by the precious blood of the Lamb and now are in the wilderness on the way to our heavenly inheritance.
